STX Cadware has been delivering productivity-enhancing software tools and consulting services to the worldwide Electronic Design Automation (EDA) community for more than 15 years. As members of the Cadence Design Systems Connections Program for third party developers since its inception, we have been supporting Cadence users since 1991.
In 2005, the STX Cadware Turbo Toolbox was purchased by Cadence for incorporation into their standard-setting Virtuoso XL product. In collaboration with Cadence, STX has continued to support and extend that suite of user-oriented layout tools.
While providing on-going support and consultation to Cadence and their customers, we have turned our attention to developing the Testchip Layout Automation Framework (TLAF™) which allows a team to produce testline layouts directly from data within the Cadence environment. Whether a customer is fabless, fab-lite, or a full integrated device manufacturer (IDM,) there is always a need to test the maufacturing process.
We have also built an innovative design team collaboration tool, stxNotes™, that allows integrated circuit design teams to communicate and collaborate within their Cadence environment.
