Application Developer The primary duties to be performed include: developing or modifying program code based on written or verbal communication, application design, configuration, code integration and testing, performance and production system monitoring, security management, and code and design reviews. Other tasks include automated layout generation or other projects that may occur from time to time. Position Requirements: - Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Programming experience in Java or C/C++; knowledge of XML and related technologies.
- Knowledge of the principles of software engineering, CMMi, and configuration management and version control is a must.
- Database knowledge - any of: Oracle, mySQL, Berkeley DB.
- Familiarity with the SKILL programming language, the Cadence environment, or physical design layout are a plus.
Electrical Design Engineer The primary duties to be performed include: consulting with customers about electrical design and software system design and maintenance supporting semiconductor manufacturing processes, bipolar and CMOS process development, photolithographic process, and thin film deposition process development. Design, develop, and modify software systems to automatically generate both schematic and physical designs. Plan, design, develop, implement, and test software for electronic design automation solutions.
Position Requirements: - MS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of standard cell core IP in 0.18u, 0.13u or smaller geometries
- Working knowledge of Cadence EDA suite tools, especially standard cell core/analog design tools/flows and simulation/verification.
- Programming experience in a high order language, especially C/C++
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to work independently from and interface effectively with team members across many locations.
